A really nice painting Mark, very atmospheric piece and I can feel the cold winter scene by just looking at it . A excellent composition and landscape and the simple but threatening darkish sky works well to compliment the snow and shadows .

Great composition ... love the leading lines in the snow to the house and the church ... and the smoke leading the eye into the sky.
