I originally painted this restored windmill en plein air. However, the sails quite defeated me, and I had to redo it in the studio. Apparently, the orginal had two different types of sail, and it was restored to the original condition. It measures approximately 8" by 12" and is painted with St Petersburg paints on Bockingford paper.
