I am liking these mono watercolours Mark, combined with your excellent mark making they produced lovely paintings. Is Lunar Black a Daniel Smith pigment?

Hi Barrie, it is a Daniel Smith product, part of their Primatek range. It gives the artworks an incredible, almost infinite depth.

I really like this monochrome painting Mark - and am also a fan of the DS Primatek colours, although haven't tried Lunar Black.

Painted using just Lunar Black watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper. I noticed this very carefully moored wooden dinghy one evening in Bosham after a days painting on the quay.
