Thank you everyone for your super comments. In the 2 hours in Bosham that this, took loads of people had a look. I enjoy the bafflement on their faces as they study my underpainting and tell me how difficult watercolour is. But my favourite bit is when the tape comes off and I start flicking in the highlights! I can now do this whilst carrying on a conversation.

A lovely sunny day painting plein air at Bosham in West Sussex. It was a mayhem of people boats and rigging. I had to remember quite a bit as boats were moved around.
