This is lovely Mark, you have caught it well. One of my very favourite places.

Love the disappearing hills in the distance Mark, they are the perfect backdrop for the tower and all without brushes that is skilful.

When I first saw this, I thought it was ambitious for an on spot work, more so without brushes. I also love Portmeirion and you have caught it's atmosphere so well here.

This is just beautiful, Mark. Beautiful scenery and great colours.

Mark your watercolours are fabulous! Love the treatment of the trees and undergrowth.

Thank you for all your comments. Much appreciated. I might forget my brushes more.

Wow, I would be happy if I could paint this WITH brushes! Very skillful work Mark to achieve this without your brushes!

I painted this in November with the sun in my eyes which is always a challenge, especially when I realised I’d forgotten my brushes. The colour was put on with a bit of sponge and moved around with the end of a pencil. I loved the way the figures walking towards me were back lit.
