Forgot to add that this may not be the chosen image - I have one with closed mouth, I did this one as a sort of challenge, to see if I could get away from the "piano keys" effect.

However, the result of this is beautiful in my opinion, with your usual soft touch.

It's really lovely Marjorie, soft and sensitive.

Wonderful portrait, Marjorie, beautiful expression, great light in the eyes, beautiful skin tones and the mouth is very vell painted. A great work, Marjorie.

Very accomplished portrait Marjorie

Thanks very much everyone, I hope to take this further with a larger version.

It's a very accomplished work Marjorie. You have the shades and tones fabulously.

The expression is spot on and the skin tones shine out from her sunny disposition.

This looks so promising Marjorie.

I love this subtle delightful portrait Marjorie- especially the expression in her eyes - it's very difficult to capture kind smiling eyes

Thankyou Michael, Derek, Carole and Lynne, I'm looking forward to developing this but I'm also a little nervous!

Beautifully painted Marjorie, just lovely.

Lovely - I like this pose. Caught in the moment, rather than the usual bored look of models who pose for ages.

Thanks again Margaret and Linda!
