That's just fabulous Marjorie! I saw your photo of this yesterday. Happy New Year, you are an inspiration! X

This is adorable Marjorie and the expression fits the title so perfectly.

Excellent Marjorie.

Wow, Diane! I like the thought of being an inspiration!!🤣 He’s just gone home, with his sister. We’ll miss them. Thanks to everyone for looking and giving those positive comments.

A very interesting concept !

😻 just brilliant Marjorie……Happy New Year!

Just saw the funny side of this. Thanks Lea and Fiona.

Fantastic work Marjorie. I love it! Best wishes to you for 2023.

Thanks Susan, it made me smile.

I really love this, it's just great. Just delightful to look at.

Happy New Year Marjorie - love this scene which is so familiar to me - have had countless near misses with cats tails and oil paint!!

What with me tramping paint around on the bottom of my slipper and the curiosity of cats…they love to know what’s going on 😀

This tells a lovely story Marjorie. Great fun!!

Aww love the painting bombing pussy cat!

Thanks Martin and Carole - just as well we are cat lovers!

Heh - cats, rats (not everyone's slug of vodka I know, but believe me, they have their charms), dogs, even goats and heifers - can shove their great big heads right in the way of any artistic endeavour, and if they don't do that, they'll tread in your palette and spread paint all over the carpet, annoyed if you seize them and try cleaning their paws (or hooves, if you happen to have a heifer in the house). I'd still rather have 'em than not.

A cat we once had went in search of ill gotten gains ( as they do), through a neighbour’s freshly painted window….gloss paint footprints all over the back of their settee and beyond….you’ve gotta love them….well we did but they didn’t. Thanks for looking Robert and Helen.

Brilliant!😀

Oil, painted over old canvas board of a vase of nasturtiums - a small trace left here and there if your eyesight is good.
