These beautiful flowers bloom from Spring through to Autumn and I have several mallow bushes in my garden. I painted this last Summer, wet in wet and from life. At the time I wasn't happy with it, but after revisiting it I felt it just need a few tweaks. I am now much happier with the overall effect. Oil on canvas panel, 24x18cm - part of my Garden 101 series.
