Pink Peonies is a 2 part online tutorial within mazartacademy.com & is full of loose watercolour washes, allowing colours to blend & bleed for added drama. I then switched to oils to detail the flowers & add shine to the glass vase, combining watercolour’s transparency with oils opaqueness for the best of both worlds. It’s a popular tutorial & the original was sold in a flash.
