I got Gary to pose in his old Sergeant’s uniform (it still fits!!) so I could practice my skin tones & wrinkled skin techniques. I really loved using the linen board for this one & the lilac infused background worked beautifully with the linen tone. Gary feels a bit weird about it because he was much younger when he actually wore this outfit. And he’s not convinced he’s that wrinkled in real life. I said, ‘I paint what I see’ ha ha.
