Thanks Carole, it was the colours that drew me to this. I'm besotted with Shirley Trevena's work and her freedom of movement and use of colour. While this isn't like her work it was a move for me towards something bolder and less careful.

Living on the east coast of Scotland gives me a wide choice of scenery and interesting subjects. I work mostly in acrylics though have become drawn to monotype and linocutting too. Currently I exhibit locally and am working on acquiring a looser style and discovering new ways with colour and form.
