I love the shape that birds make and these do look like their on watch, waiting. The different textures intrigue me too, black still silhouettes against a churning sea, dark against light, with mid tones in the foreground.

Living on the east coast of Scotland gives me a wide choice of scenery and interesting subjects. I work mostly in acrylics though have become drawn to monotype and linocutting too. Currently I exhibit locally and am working on acquiring a looser style and discovering new ways with colour and form.
