Many thanks for your kind comments, Eliza Weaver nee Smith my G.G.Grandmother must have been a very strong Woman, she had 14 children, 7 of her sons went to war ww1, 5 returned one of which was my Grandfather Tom Smith a wonderful brave Man who won the Military Medal. So hard to imagine the heartbreak of those times. On a lighter note the Smith Family lived on Minchinhampton Common in Gloucestershire, when the snow arrived, all of their carpets would be upended face down onto the snow beaten and dragged around which would clean them beautifully.
