Yes Margaret this is a very clever picture. It reminds me of 'Art Deco'. Good Colour too. Thank you for your comments much appreciated. I am now painting my third still life, I have got a thing about them now. Did you see my 'A Taste of Summer' the wine bottles? Trouble is they take longer. I don't know whether I will sell any, it would be nice. I have sold 21 paintings since 2004 that's when I picked up the paintbrush again after getting my GCE 0 level at school and then going to day college to study Shorthand and typing. Second subject art. Teacher said should take up art but didn't want too. Like most people on here I paint for pleasure - I just love it - I get lost in it - just like the garden! Hi Margaret, thanks for your kind comments on The Cuillins. This is one of yours I've never noticed before but very apt regarding my "electric blue flashes". Not had them in yet, spoke to hairdresser last time I was there and she said she would order the colour in for me. I'm due back in the next coulple of weeks or so to get my roots done (don't tell anyone my colour isn't natural, have to hide the grey somehow) so I'll get my blue flashes then. Hubby still doesn't believe I'm going to get them in, boy is he in for a surprise. Teach him to tease me about my age! I'll keep you posted, Love Val
