Green Man

Hello Margaret, thank you for your kind comments re my flower paintings. Your question, I used masking fluid to paint the shapes of the flowers and quick flicks around just to give impression of my garden (which has many flowers). I used Viridian and Sap Green watercolour and just let it run all over the place turning the painting from side to side (wet in Wet). Faint paint on the main flowers and then rubbed the masking fluid off. I then gave more definition to my main flowers in the painting. Sometimes one can get happy accidents this way. Don;t worry I have torn many up. Anyway, may I just say I do think you have talent, I love the background in this particular piece. Keep painting. Jeannette
