I am just going to post a new still life - I would like your opinion. I really do love this. It is smashing. I love the way you have just let it run and little use of colour. Very well done - keep on exploring love it.

I agree with Jeannette. Don't need to change.!!

No. Don't stick to fairies! Your work is delicate and sensitive. Thankyou for your comments. I think we all wish we could change our styles from time to time. I want to try acrylics in watercolour style, but never get around to do it

Margaret, I never used to like Still Life much either. I have sort of got into it a bit now! I shall probably go off it soon. I keep chopping and changing. I new you had painted this even though it wasn't a fairy. We all have our style doesn't matter what the subject, it is like handwriting none of us are the same. Best wishes Jeannette

Thank you both for your comments. Glad you like it because I have thought of another one I would like to do in the same sprt of style, I also had fun painting it! Off to see your still life Jeannette.

Hello Margaret, thank you for your lovely comments. I really like acrylic, dry quickly. I love the oil but it takes to long too dry. I love watercolour, I have painted many. If I have to choose, I think it would be watercolour, I use it a lot during summer. (With the boxed canvas you do not have to frame so maybe I like acrylic for that reason). My still life is shells from the beach. Look under my name in the list in the sidebar, it's there. Margaret I walk into my garden and I am in paradise.

You have found the joy of exploring faces your hooked :)

Hi Margaret - thankyou for all your messages today - so pleased you enjoyed all! :-) Delighted. Hope it adds ideas for you to try AND I will so look forward to seeing all this new work :-) - I will remove those folois now then! :-) If you want to see more of mine from Scotland or much more you can always go visit my website - masses on there - and respond there? Who knows perhaps one day I will return to Hebrides and paint again and you know you can always come paint here in a summer. I have just put up the first of a two part demo in loose watercolour - french street with figures to help someone else http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=ejlVV_wl00I if you want to see? BUT I am looking forward to sharing the images you are going to do - more so any scenes from there. :-) bye for now - Peter

Thank you Margaret! I love your Rosa Rugosa very much. The unfinished corner is great!! Yes, Blue was done over watercolour and acrylics to give more depth.

Absolutely beautiful. Your Rosa Rugosa is my favourite. There is so much delicacy emerging from it and yet you feel that there might be something hidden that might suddenly emerge and you have to be careful.

Thanks for your comment. I like your works, becouse you are searching still new forms of painting draft . This is a lovely succulent pink, wonderful work Margaret. I will keep my fingers crossed for your concerns of the next works......violetta
