Have not painted for about two years due to eyesight not quite so good so can’t paint detail now so thought I would try a looser style any advice would be appreciated thanks

Lovely autumnal painting, Margaret. My eyesight is the same, I have 4 pairs of spectacles that I use for different work, in fact the ones I use for really close detail make everything concave if I look away from the easel!!!

This lovely painting caught my eye, beautiful colours and I like your looser style too. My advice would be to keep painting and not worry about detail.
