Really good watercolour, lots of interesting detail

Great painting Manus. I like painting street scenes in my workbook, with a leaning towards line & wash. Love the colours you have used. Very brave decision to have such a dark sky, but it certainly draws your eye to the street below. Nicely done.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I often use dark skies to hold in the lighter passages ( either mediterranean blues or stormy skys). It is something we used to do in in non digital photographs achieved by polarising filters for colour or red or green filters for monochrome prints. It emphasises the light areas and makes colours pop a little.
