Thanks everybody for your lovely comments, This was a commission for six paintings of distilleries. I have visited at least 40 and had a dram in each. ( my wife drives) . To get in the spirit I had the relevant dram whilst painting each one. I love the history, manufacturing process etc etc of whisky. These buildings are basically factories but usually with a bit of character in iconic settings which is what I was trying to achieve. Manus
