Not so much just a lovely scene that sells well, but a lovely scene interpreted, composed and painted superbly, which this one is. Love your rendering of the distant trees and the reflection.

A subject within a few miles from home This painting sold quickly at an annual exhibition. Local scenes generally sell well. I think I will try another from a different angle and in a different light.
