Ha ha great expressions. Love the little lad on the right with his fluke win. Wonder if kids do that now……

Thanks Marjorie. I don’t think kids do, especially with that European moth that killing all the Horse Chestnuts. There are ways to combat it. I had to tell our local politician about it or many of the trees would have gone. Was I the only one who noticed? Clear up the leaves and spray the trees. If you see a horse chestnut in your area with the leaves brown already, report it! Thanks

Now I look again, the story has changed. The lad on the left has won and he’s saying “ YESSS!” The little lad on the right is admiring the champion conker - how did I get it so wrong? Too hasty.

Perhaps the lad on the left had his knuckles rapped! Another brilliant painting Martin.

It is interesting how an image can be read. It all depends on the viewers consciousness awareness. It’s an intense moment for me with great brush work Martin. I see things in the background but thats for me.

A good painting can tell many stories….

Super good and a moment in time captured really well

Excellent work Martin , as said a good painting can tell many stories this one does.

Thanks everyone
