Wow, an extraordinarily powerful image Martin and superbly painted. So much symbolism to ponder over!

My mind is working overtime here. A lot to think about. And as Russell says, excellent skill here. Can’t stop looking at that helmet and the look in his eyes.

Russell has said it all - so much symbolism and a wonderful painting

What an extraordinary painting. There is an implied meaning that I am struggling to understand. This makes for a great painting. Well done.

Su mirada tan profunda.

A startling, thought provoking, image, painted with feeling and great skill Martin.

I may not entirely grasp the message - my mind is a touch on the literal side - but there's very real skill in the application of paint and the drawing of this oddly appealing, and at the same time worrying, youth.

A very striking and thought provoking painting. Certainly delivers a hidden message of fear.

I think extraordinary is a good word to describe this. It has such impact and arouses a multitude of emotions/thoughts/ideas, some of which I hesitate to express here! Well done Martin.

Thanks all for your kind comments. They mean a lot!

I’m a bit wary of his gaze. The softness of the flower, colour of his helmet and sensuous mouth, I feel contradictory to his uniform. Superb painting, certainly a conversation piece Martin.
