Wow Martin this is nightmarish. What a terrible state you must have been in. Brilliant imagination though. I suppose we’re all a bit mad and it can manifest into taking creativity to extremes. Certainly a thought provoking work of art brilliantly executed.

Powerful and has so much emotion in the expression...and as a viewer I am also left questioning the meaning...which is in itself a measure of a successful piece.

A great way to channel anger to create this juxtaposition of mundane items into a work that shouts

Thank you so much. Forgot to say, because the plaster of Paris was old, it went off in minutes, so it took me eons to make, a little at a time.

This sculpture I did after I came out of prison for ‘conspiracy to sell an illicit substance’. I was mad in those days after leaving the military. Still am I suppose, but the madness has manifested into a cortisone. I will never be normal, nor do I want to be, as the insanity of everyday living suits me at this present time. I never had any money after jail, so this was made from old plaster of Paris, left in an old man’s shed, that he didn’t want. It’s horrible, I know, but so was my mind.
