All these sketches are in pencil using Pentel clutch pencils with 0.5 , 0.7 & 0.9 mm HB leads for detail and 4B graphite stick for texture on trees and foregrounds. I use a Daler Rowney hardback A4 landscape book with 62 pages - this is book No. 38 - I try to complete one book every three months. The reason I use HB leads and bound books as it cuts down on the pencil smudging as I do not use fixative.
