What a difference to your usual; such bright colours. I still like it but prefer your watercolours. This just doesn't seem "you". I have exactly the same problem when using acrylics. It just feels all wrong to mix white and work backwards as it were. Although I still get asked for occasional commissions in acrylics I've decided they are just not for me. Back to my watercolurs. So much more responsive.

I recognized the style, good to see you work in a different medium and I like it. You have a distinctive style and as ever your drawing is lovely. I particularly like the work in the area around the boats in the lower left hand corner, where you seem to have captured the same sort of effects you use in your watercolours. Very well done.

Hmmm: Acrylics, too! I'm gobsmacked. Although to me it seems your approach to acyrlics is very similar to that of your watercolours. Personally, I like them just as well. Will there be some more galleries lurking in the next pages? Over how long a period of time have all these works been produced?

I like this colourful style. It is always good to surprise you audience by doing something a bit different! Love the reflections in the water around the boats. Do more of these please.

It would be interesting to see the new version - did you have to adjust tones within the painting? I wouldn't have known this as yours, even though I see the connections to your watercolours. I think that's a compliment, on the whole! You wouldn't want all your work to be indistinguishable across all media.... I like the stronger colouring in this.
