I am afraid I don't understand the need for the collage. The painting itself doesn't need it - it's well executed and in a very attractive style. The collage simply acts as a distraction. Sorry!

Trevor my recent painting have moved into more semi abstraction from more representation work, which I'm quite happy with at the moment but this may change in the future. I sold the two other paintings on this site using this method last weekend at the Staithes Art Festival.
