Technique sounds rather complicated, but beautiful result - love the colours.

Lovely lights Malcolm and beautiful colours. :)

Wonderful technique and finish Malcolm.

You,ve spent the lasit year with little success in acrylics...... well I would call this a success, a beautiful painting,

Such a move away from your other styles but WOW I do love its vibrancy and the contemporary light this historic city has been given. Congrats.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I really liked the sparkle of this painting - don&#39;t give up on the technique just yet.<br />Ann Roberts.

Acrylic on watercolour paper. Sealed with medium and three blocks of newsprint added. Primary colours added randomly then textured with cling film. Glazes using a sheet of paper to give a straight line and texture using the backing sheet for sticky labels ( greaseproof ) painted with acrylic- which breaks up into small circles and used as a stamp. Design added then negative and positive glazing to define the building shapes. Then a little white added to the acrylic to give opaque colour.
