I can imagine the pied piper with his pipes here. Lovely texture with the tissue paper, thanks for reminding me about that. I keep seeing pics of Staithes and I really must go. Lovely piece of work.

Watercolour on clear tissue paper stuck onto 200lb Bockingford paper. Picture had to be soaked in water and dried under a weighted sheet of glass because of the buckling. Buildings then re-painted.
