Staithes by Malcolm Coils

I really like this painting, Malcolm. It's quiet, refined and maybe a bit understated, though the red roofs save it. I feel that I'd enjoy wandering these steeets. I must visit Staithes one day.

Great composition, beautifully "understated" Just works so well

If there's a town hall in Staithes, or any civic building at all, this should be hanging in it. An extremely pleasing painting with a great sense of place.
