I like the result, very interesting foreground foliage.

Well, whether it worked out as intended I don't know, but it's very effective - love that fence, especially. I wonder how many times we'll read "never have a fence or obstacle in the foreground, it stops people entering the painting" - another rule you've torn up and thrown to the four winds: well done.

I agree with Lorraine and Robert (twice!!!). This is beautiful!! I like all the rest of your work too.

A3 watercolour dropping black ink into the initial wash as per John Blockley . It di not seem to work as he described so I sprayed the ink with a fine mist sprayer this resulted in fine grey spots covering the whole painting- oops. I added a fence and trees in a positive and negative way
