This is a different view to the normal one from the harbour. I know Wells very well having had a holiday home just 4 miles from it for years. I do like your smooth and unfussy style which suits this scene so well. Just a little thing, Malcolm, I think that those of us who appreciate and comment on your work would really like some response from you especially when people have asked questions about style and method, etc. I know you are probably a very busy artist, but just having that contact would mean a lot.

This is a super watercolour, Malcolm, I especially like how you have used strong colour, detail and tone in the foreground and pale greys for the distant buildings, gives a great feeling of depth.
