Quite a few years ago I did a trip out to the mountain K2 in the Karacoram mountains, while out there I met a lady from America who was also an Elementary school teacher, cut a long story short, I was invited to stay with her in Los Angeles and while there sent some time with her students taking them for art class at a basic level, the students are young people for whom English is a second language. Every year since then each new class to help with thier written english and thier letter writing skills has written letters to me and all put some form of art work on the bottom to the best of thier ability, the number varies between 20 to 30 letters at a time. I reply to each one with a hand written letter and put an individual little art work on the bottom of each letter. This year I have decided to also send them a class project by producing a little line drawing on A4 paper that is simple with little detail, I am also sending one I have coloured in with pencils so they will have a basic
