Thanks Dennis, yes you do, it is really just a nod towards the way the different centuries of the Legions marked which parts of the Wall they built.

This sketch was inspired by my recent trip to Northumberland and Hadrians Wall. I was on a section of it on a cold, dreary windy day and I could just imagine the long dead troops patroling the wall and the land behind it, so this in my minds eye was a group of solidiers from the past in the distance coming towards me like will-o-the-wisps. fancifull I know but it is magical and gets your mind going up there when the sun is not shining.
