This work, even though moving away from my 'paint what you see' belief, was really first inspired by a stormy day in Glenco when the rains were so heavy the river was in flood and the falls at the head of the Coe were bouncing, we had been hoping to get across to the hidden valley but once down to river level it was a bit silly trying to cross, but on looking up the light at that point was magical. It may not be a faithful representation of the falls but it was the feeling of the place and time.
