It's lovely, Mike, really atmospheric

Two great paintings, I guess we're all too critical of our work or we'd never progress. I can see that the mid-distance is more defined, but both are fine work.

If a painting is "doomed " as a reject , then that is when I play about. Apart from adding the lower belt of colour to the sky , I used "pearlised" inks on the setting sun and its foreground and again on the perimeter of the vegetation. Very pale lemon on the sun and foreground , a suitable green for the vegetation. It worked better than anticipated. Is it permitted ?
