My thanks for the encouragement. Heather , NZ does not offer the freedom of walking over farmland as has occurred in the UK over the eons. Unless one gets permission from the owner , it is private land with no entry. National parks are as in the UK - open to all, and we do have a fair few of those.

I pass this area every 6 weeks and see a different "picture" every time - and it is only on the "to" journey , never on the return . Ink drawing and painting were intermixed with this one
