That's a excellent evocation of twilight...a good time of day. It's when the bats start flitting around here.

Love the dark and light in this, the trees in silhouette look great, altogether a lovely composition 😃

thank you for the kind comments. Lewis , NZ has 2 remaining bat species , neither of which are in my area - up the coast a piece towards New Plymouth is the nearest area. I think they are the Lesser Short tailed Bat and the Long tailed Bat. Apparently the short tailed Bat is a ground feeder and is , therefore , susceptible to introduced predator species - rat, cats, stoats , weasels.
