Those buildings are such great subjects and this technique suits it well.

the trusty matchstick , (thanks to John Hoar's dvds ) which I find more versatile than the straight drawing "pens". Went to the great expense of purchasing a box of matches - long ones - and cutting a length off a bamboo pea stick. - it worked. Thanks to all for the kind comments.
