Stunning painting - I love the lips and the way you have painted her hand

Hi Lynne well you may have struggled but it a beautiful watercolour . Very impressive, well done.

Lovely work Lynne! I especially like your use of colour in this!

Joseph,Dennis & Sarah thank you for your lovely comments

Stunning! I like the way that her face is slightly off centre as well as your skillful painting technique.

Thank you Satu & Louise - it makes that struggle with the painting worth it !

'Interpretation' is the key word Lynne. What's the point of painting more images of her unless we add something personal? You've certainly done that - she's (?) unsettling, quite androgynous in fact. Lovely tonal work.

Kim - thank you so much for your insightful critique

Superb work - love the interplay of warms and cools and lights and darks.

Thank you Seok so much for your observation

This just works! It gives a fresh slant on the iconic face and has a nice vulnerability about it as well which we know was an inherent part of her character.

Thea - you've made me a happy bunny! I so wanted to capture the vulnerability but with a hint of her determination & sadness as well - so thank you

This is Marvellous Lynne. Love the style and so like her.

So glad you like it Carole

Terrific—love the colours.

This painting proved a lot more difficult than I anticipated - her eyes are so iconic & I struggled a bit - I hope you like my interpretation
