This is a very interesting portfolio, Lynne, although there are pieces of each that I think you could have done without. For instance, in Urban Nights, I think that the whirligigs, particularly the long one just left of centre, could be omitted. They introduce an amateurish note that does not sit well with the rest of the work. Just my opinion ! Others will no doubt disagree. Interesting, though, for all that. Well done!!

Thank you, Lionel, I just replied to someone else on here, that this is quite a controversial style of painting, and quite new to me, and it's really ingesting to get feedback of any kind. It is great fun to do though! Thanks again!

It certainly looks fun, Lynne, and I hope you will continue to develop this style. My criticism is meant to be constructive, and I hope you accept it as such. Keep up the good work!

I am grateful of any comments, Lionel, as it is the only way to learn....and it's good to know a piece of work is noticeable enough to receive comments!

I love this. I could sit and dissect it to look at all the separate components, but I actually find I want to enjoy the painting as a whole. Great choice of colours and an interesting and lively design.
