I'm sure you know that painting in acrylic over oil isn't a good idea - the paint peels off, usually. However, if the oil paint was really old you might get away with it. Or did you basically just fill in the gaps you hadn't painted in oil at all? It'll be interesting to see what happens to it. Like the twiggy look.

I thought this would be a watercolour when I saw the small image in the gallery. No matter, you have created a nice painting here Lynne.

Very attractive painting....you have so much light in it too.

Good afternoon Lynne. Nice to have you back. I was wondering where you were. Well done on the Patchings ... I've said it before, I like your style. It works very well.

A lovely calm feel to this painting, and some beautiful colours in the water.

You've come back with some lovely postings Lynne, hope you are back to good health.

I call this mixed media because I started it years ago in oil, and now all my paints have dried out, so I finished it in Acrylic. This is a tiny pool which is at the side of a ford, and people miss it as they drive through hoping not to get stuck!
