Many thanks . I had trouble deciding when this was finished. There has to be a cut off point doesn't there, but I tend to keep on working and lose the original idea. It's nice to be back, have had a bit of a health scare so havn't been online for a few months. Now to catch up with you all.....

Hi Lynne, I know I work with a different medium, but this is exactly the type of atmosphere I am looking to work towards. Brilliant, like it better than the end of lane picture.

This is quite a large painting, and I wanted to capture the coolness of the shade on this lovely bridle path which is in Hollington, Staffordshire. I wish I could have captured the sound of the buzzards which were flying above the trees when I was sketching.
