I love a glowing tree Lynne, such a lovely painting and again has that slightly magical feel to it. You asked about the resist method of painting. Well it is quite easy, it is just using white gouache to resist the waterproof black ink that you paint over it, only allowing ink to go on the paper where you want it to. After it is dry, you wash it out. This can be a messy, heavy on water process and you do need a strong paper to withstand the assault! Hope this helps. Vivienne
