Very nice Lynda

A fine well painted scene indeed Lynda. Like the way you have dealt with the spacious foreground especially.

You all say such lovely things, and I'm so grateful, thank you.

Nice work I’m impressed…

I live in a house named Reeth Lodge - nowhere near Yorkshire; perhaps it was named after the village; I prefer that explanation to another - that the word comes from wreath, for all the sailors who have died off this bit of Isle of Wight coast. I should like to visit the village, which is as good a recommendation for a painting as any, I think.

That's a lovely connection Robert. Reeth is near the River Swale. And is central in the North Riding of Yorkshire, The Yorkshire Dales is a beautiful NP, and i really appreciate your comments. Thank you so much.
