This is am earlier painting from during my 'backlit' phase, which I find really effective considering it goes against my preferred style of detail, detail, detail. Even though there isn't as much of that, it still took a while to do. There are lots of favourite parts of this painting that I like, particularly the light from behind emphasizing his large front left paw! How sad am I?
