Shelagh Fairbank

Biography

I took up painting after retiring in 2017, having not done any since 'O' Level Art - now I find I can't stop. Painting or drawing has certainly filled the void, (after a worklife in IT), with ease and offered the perfect contrast. My painting is quite eclectic and I paint what takes my fancy or what I know will make people smile when I paint something with them in mind. Every day is a learning experience on which to either just escape with a paintbrush or master a technique. Long may it continue.
