Thank you - I decided not to worry about the end product of this painting and just go for it. Years ago I had about 8 boards cut to size and I've decided to gesso them and use them up (good excuse to go and buy some flowers).

From direct observation, I painted the sunflower and gereberas to capture their shapes. My interest was the sunflower so I kept that as my main flower. I enjoyed painting this still life and the mark making. Oil on board
