We had a huge lake at the bottom of our garden..lots of seagulls appeared from nowhere! Showing off your Spanish eh Fiona? Fiestas or ferias are where you'll see national/traditional dress. Very nicely portrayed Louise. You caught it all well.

Lol....yes I’m multi lingual Louise I lived in Gibraltar for a few years and picked two words up, one is Hola, the other is Manana with a squiggly thing on the ‘n’. I haven’t done any lovely paintings so you’re okay! 😉 hope you stick around for a while, miss your vibrant and topical work...and your wit.

Thanks Thalia. I need cheering up. The weather is grim here and as we're not allowed out much, most of our our trips are to the bins outside the house :) You're right Jim and they're lovely to see. Thank you and hope you're well. Having just posted this has made me realise just how much I've missed the site Fiona and my 'old' pol friends. I'll try and post another manana (with a squiggle) if I can make it postable (that isn't Spanish word) Thanks Carole. Those white marks are so cleverly paint to depict movement Louise. Love those colourful dresses and it makes me miss Spain so much, as we usually spend the winters there. Hasta la vista baby🌞🌞
