You're really good at the one-line stuff. Is this Swallows & Amazons? Think that's the correct title...haven't read the book but know it's about children having adventures in sailing boats.

Thanks Lewis. No Swallows in this one though!

Looks like the Phantom of the Opera family

lol Malcolm, definitely not..and I'd thought it was easy!!

Famous Five? Great one line drawing!

Yes, has to be the Famous Five?

Correct Heather and Tessa! As a child I loved the Famous Five books and although today I'm rubbish at remembering names, I can remember this lot. I must have read the whole series!

Didn’t guess the book, Louise, but a great one line drawing!

Had to be one of tw0, Louise, both classic childhood favourites (childhood? who says? I bought the latest d.v.d of Swallows and Amazons just a few years ago, watched it then gave it to my grand daughter). The palm trees in your drawing might hint at "Five on a Treasure Island" though. (-:

Thanks Tessa! That's the one Jim. 'Five on a Treasure Island'. Unfortunately I no longer have my old favourite Enid Blyton books but I do have one called 'Five on Brexit Island' written by someone else obviously and bought for me by my daughter as a bit of fun I think :)

Like this a lot Louise! The Famous Five were one of my favourites too :)

Fabulous one liner Louise. I guessed famous five, loved the books, my favourite being Cry of the Banshee. Had to check under the bed and in the wardrobe before turning the light off...lol.

Thanks Margaret, mine too! Thanks also Fiona..hope you're ok now!!

Agree, lovely one line drawing, and definitely The Famous Five.

Thanks Linda. I don't think that I'll ever forget Julian, Dick, Ann,Georgina (George) and Timmy their dog! Worryingly, I often can't remember real peoples' names :)

What was the saying when they were heading off on an adventure....heaps of lettuce, tons of tomatoes and lashings of ginger beer! Or something like that. It’s only been a week but I think I’m alright! Lol. As long as I leave the landing light on.....

I probably liked the sound of ginger beer when I was young! You'll be fine Fiona..the g & t's will help. Lettuce and tomatoes not so good..

It's great. I am reading a really obscure book at the moment ....

Amazing Louise, I am rubbish at these!

Many thanks Gudrun and Frank!
