That's it! I love it Louise! Now it lets the imagination run free and there's so many interesting shapes and lines to look at. I knew you could do it. Congratulations! The wax crayons were a splendid idea.

Really Satu? That's very kind of you! The wax crayons are quite hard work. Actually, 'oil pastels' sounds better doesn't it? I've had a box of them for at least 40 + years and hardly used them. Don't tell Derek though, that rather gives away my age.. LOL

Really! Yes, oil pastels sounds much better and I promise not to tell Derek about your advanced years.

Very patriotic abstract , love the ancient ;) oil pastels Louise. Beauty before age!

Hang on a minute Satu..I never mentioned the words 'advanced age'..just the oil pastels. I was a mere child when I was given them :) Thanks Carole and It's my patriotic abstract now!

Sorry darling, 40+ is a spring chicken!

The pastels are as good as the day I bought them Satu.. oops, I mean was given them. LOL

Fabulous bold colours and good for you having a go, I'm hopeless at abstract. Love the black lines through the painting Louise.

Go on Fiona...you have to try!

I love abstracts Louise, don't always understand them but this gels nicely.

Another lovely abstract, Louise.

I cant say that I understand abstracts either Alan despite some long winded explanations sometimes needlessly given. I just know if I like the colours and shapes and overall effect of them. Lovely to hear from you as well, I've missed seeing your work here. You could always do a quick abstract to get going again. Nothing serious, I'd like to see that :)

Another happy creation.....I'm very happy with crayons as well.
